Entertainment at Summerset Festival has been a long standing tradition. Whether it be the local dance studio or the well-known local band, Summerset offers a vast array of music and cultural arts. Without the support of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, our fantastic entertainment schedule would not be possible.  Click on the band links for further information about any group.

Kahuna Beach Party

Kahuna Beach Party isn’t just a band, it’s an event! With a mix of music, comedy and audience participation, Kahuna Beach Party is a great way to kick off Summerset Festival weekend. Do you love the Beach Boys? All songs are performed just like you remember them. It’s a top down cruise through all the big harmonies and twangy guitars. You will go home singing Good Vibrations and Surfin’ USA. What about car songs? They got ‘em! How about Little Duece Coupe and I Get Around? And who hasn’t had dreams about the Little Surfer Girl? Crosley HotShot

Crosley Hotshot is one of the HIGHEST OCTANE Country Bands in Colorado!  Crosley Hotshot is indeed, a fine country band.  Established in 2006, Crosley Hotshot plays throughout the Midwest & Rocky Mountain regions, including festivals & county fairs, rodeos, weddings, bar dances and private parties as well as bars & clubs and restaurants.  Visit more about Crosley Hotshot at www.crosleyhotshot.com.

Fire By Night

While the Fire by Night Band is a relatively new group, it boasts combined musical experience of over 75 years.  The band’s repertoire of music consists of jazz fusion along with some quality classic rock ‘n’ roll.  Each seasoned member brings diversity to the band in their backgrounds and a professionalism that isn’t found in most “young” bands.

Red Hot Blues Catz

The Red Hot Blues Catz band was originally formed in 2000 under the direction of lead guitarist and singer Ed Hayslett (“Cat Daddy”).  Despite its success and critical acclaim, the original Red Hot Blues Catz disbanded in the summer of 2003, shortly after the release of the band’s second CD entitled “Look What the Catz Drug In,” due to differences in musical and spiritual direction of the individual band members.  Following the breakup of the band, Cat Daddy went on a musical and spiritual journey that took him to Australia, Japan, and twice to Russia. With a renewed heart and spirit, the Red Hot Blues Catz band has been reformed and resurrected with musicians and vocalists Cat Daddy became acquainted through his travels.  The synergy of the new Red Hot Blues Catz is evident in their musical and vocal abilities as well as their obvious friendships on stage, which has allowed the bar to be raised far above where the band was going before.  The Catz’ new mantra is, “Groovin’ Blues with Good News!”  So, hang on for what is ahead for these Catz, ‘cause they’re gonna rock your world! TC & The Domestic Engineers

High energy, exciting and versatile.....TC and the DOMESTIC ENGINEERS is thoroughbred of variety/dance bands. Performing dance hits from the 60's to today's current favorites, TC and the Domestic Engineers is a dynamo of great vocals and spectacular musicianship. Their featured powerful vocal harmonies are the result of exceptional lead vocalists capable of tearing the paint off the back walls. Chase N The Dream

Chase not only has a powerful, velvety voice, he has a stage presence that is totally engaging!  He has that energy that makes you want to get up out of your chair and dance and move to the rhythm of the music.   He is truly an artist and a seasoned vocalist.  Chase has been performing in the US, Europe & the Orient for the past 20 years.  He sings a wide range of music such as reggae, jazz, pop, R&B and blues.  From Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong to Luther Vandross--Chase uses his creativity and style to craft new experiences for you.  For more about Chase, visit www.chasenthedream.com . Eric Roberts

Eric Robertsis an accomplished guitarist and bassist as well as composer, and has been playing professionally since the age of 16.  He holds a B.A. in Music from Ithaca College and a Master’s in Music from the University of Miami.  He has enjoyed a successful career playing in Broadway shows, backing up name entertainers, performing solo guitar concerts, giving music workshops, and providing music for every type of occasion.  His repertoire ranges from classical to jazz, brazilian to new age and nuevo flamenco.  He works as a solo performer with tracks, as a guitar/flute duo and with a quartet.  His debut CD, “IN A SILENT PLACE”, featuring world renowned cellist, David Darling, has been receiving accolades the world over, and most recently the track “Flowing” became a finalist in the “new age” category of the 2009 Independent Music Awards and the track “Cella’s Song”, written for his wife, won first prize in the “instrumental” category of the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition.  His music can currently be heard on XM Radio as well as Comcast’s “Music Choice” channel on their “Soundscapes” program.  His upcoming EP, “MY BRAZILIAN HEART”, features many of his smooth jazz and brazilian compositions.  More information can be found at:  www.musicmagicproductions.com and www.myspace.com/inasilentplace.

The Colorado Ambassadors

The Colorado Ambassadors, founded in 1993 are a contemporary gospel choir, known as the best in the Denver area.  Their mission is that each of their members learn the art of positive musical expression through hands on training, positive songs and lyrics while empowering their own lives, and to nurture their own professional futures while instituting an appreciation and responsibility toward their community.   Their fabulous talent, energy, joy and love for music is a special treat at Summerset!

Highway 358

The men of Highway 358 have chosen a different path – a higher road - the way of holiness. Their quest is simple – to form a supernatural highway for the hand of God on earth through music. In their songs you will hear a variety of styles that span the last 30 years including modern pop melodies, soaring rock ‘n roll leads, classic blues licks all supported by a solid beat and layered with rich vocal harmonies for the purpose of gratifying the creator of the universe.  With well over 150 years of combined musical experience, the band formed 8 years ago at a local church in Littleton, CO. Focused mainly on providing worship music on Sundays, the last 2 years have been centered on developing originals written by the combined efforts of the band. The result is something different than anything on the radio today yet resonant of the vintage tones of the past and a modern sound that goes well beyond the walls of church.  Visit www.highway358.net . Band Dynamics Showcase

Band Dynamics, LLC has created a program that is designed to replace traditional one-on-one music lessons with a collaborative approach where students learn to play and hone their skills in a band environment.  Whether a student has never played before or has been taking lessons for years, Band Dynamics has put the fun back into learning to play music.  Their program not only provides students with the educational component, but also provides them opportunities to play live events – like Summerset!  Come watch a new band give us what they got!  Check out www.banddynamics.com .
